Over the past 10 years since then, there have been some cracker contests between these 2 nations - I have picked my 6 best ODI's in this video clip. 1. 1995/96 B&H Series, Melb - this game revitilised the SL campaign in Australia, and was the start of an amazing 12 months for SL cricket. 2. 1996 WC Final - That famous day in Lahore - Need I say anymore. 3. 1996 Singer Cup Final - SL stretched their win record to 3 out of 3 games against Australia. This final was a massacre as SL romped home easily as Aravinda goes crazy in last few overs. 4. 2002 ICC Semis - Another big game, another big win for SL as the boys easily win by 7 wkts, with 10 overs to spare. 5. 2004-2nd ODI in Dambulla. The classic Dr Death over by Vaas secures a remarkable "come from behind win" after Symonds is recalled in an amazing act of sportsmanship. 6. 2006 VB Series in Sydney - Sanath gets off a plane after his shoulder injury, and fires an amazing century to pulverise a hapless Aussies team.
