Brian Lara becomes the leading test run scorer of all time

On November 27, 2005 Brian Lara became the leading Test run scorer of all time, passing the 11,174 mark set by Australian Allan Border. Lara scored his 11175th run shuffling across his stumps to a delivery speared towards middle stump, and patted it down to fine leg for a single. The Adelaide crowd rose to cheer an outstanding feat by an outstanding player. This is the video of the 6-ball over during which this historic event took place
